What They say About Us?
Olenka’s classes are truly a transformative experience. From the very first moment, you can feel a high level of professionalism, not only in the technical execution but in how each class is thoughtfully structured to support real student growth. Her pedagogical approach is exceptional: clear, patient, and deeply aware of the different learning paces of each student. Olenka doesn’t simply teach steps—she teaches connection, musicality, and the true essence of Kizomba and Semba, honoring their cultural and emotional roots. What truly sets her classes apart is the genuine care for every student. There is constant attention to individual progress, offering respectful corrections, encouragement, and creating a safe, supportive environment where everyone feels seen and supported, regardless of their level. More than just dance classes, this is a powerful learning experience—professional, human, and deeply inspiring. A true standard of excellence in Kizomba and Semba education.

If you’re thinking about trying Kizomba, START HERE!
I was new to Kizomba and a little nervous, but Olenka’s instruction was so clear, detailed, and fun that I learned 3 moves in my first lesson. Couldn’t have asked for a better start!

OLE Beats In Motion offers classes that are perfect for beginners. I’m not a great dancer, but she takes her time teaching you step by step, which builds your confidence. Ole makes the classes fun and, as I mentioned, she dedicates time to working individually with each student, which is great because we all have different difficulties when learning to dance Kizomba (rhythm, steps, etc.) I 100% recommend her classes.
Jaime Moreno
I started taking Kizomba classes and Olenka was incredibly attentive. She gives the one-on-one feel in a group setting making sure everyone understands before moving onto the next level. Specializing in proper form and understanding movement. I would recommend her to anyone looking into learning traditional Angolan Kizomba and much more!

Learning kizomba with Olenka has been great so far. Her passion for Kizomba and Angolan culture shines in her lessons and it’s great to see her enthusiasm to grow the community in Maine! Despite it being my first lesson, she made me feel super comfortable from the beginning and left me wanting to learn more. Can’t wait to be back!

Olenka are an awesome duo. They were very comprehensive and thorough with the basic moves. We learned both leaders and followers moves to understand the whole picture. I look forward to learning more from them. This is a very unique dance and very specialized in Maine.

I had a fantastic time at the Kizomba dance lesson in Portland, Maine, led by the wonderful instructors, Olenka. Despite the weather forcing us to move indoors, Olenka seamlessly adapted the lesson, creating a warm and welcoming environment. Their patience and teaching style made it easy for beginners like me to feel comfortable, and they thoughtfully paired us with experienced dancers to help us learn. The music was vibrant, the sense of community was uplifting, and the overall experience was unforgettable. I highly recommend this class to anyone looking to dive into a fun, supportive dance experience!

I have lived in the Northwestern part of Maine for almost 15yrs. I found Kizomba through a music app and have been searching for the past 5 yrs to learn this style. Alas, Portland area provided this! I introduced myself to Olenka when I reached out by phone. Within a week, Olenka began a new session of Kizomba classes. I’ve only had 3 lessons so far, but I am loving every minute of it. They both are so patient to new beginners but also knowledgeable to answer my questions. Olenka even took the time to share with me about the different styles of music and where they originated. As a dance educators myself, (of a different genre of classical dance), I very much appreciated this explanation and his passion to share this art. I highly recommend lessons with Olenka at any level of your dance journey!!
